Why visit Zhangjiajie

Wulingyuan / Zhangjiajie National Forest Park directly inspired Avatar's Hallelujah Mountains. In 2 days you can ride the Bailong Elevator up a 326 m cliff, hike Yuanjiajie plateau, and walk the world's longest glass-bottom bridge across the Grand Canyon.

Getting there

Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport (DYG) flies from Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou. There is also a direct high-speed train from Chongqing (5 hr) and Changsha (1.5 hr). Base yourself in Wulingyuan town, not Zhangjiajie city, to save 40 min each way.
